About Me
Professional Summary
I’m a hands-on cloud platform engineer and technology leader with 15+ years of experience modernizing applications, infrastructure, and engineering workflows. I specialize in building scalable cloud-native systems on AWS using serverless architectures, distributed systems, infrastructure-as-code, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
My background spans software engineering, platform architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, and operational leadership. I’ve led large-scale modernization initiatives that transformed legacy monoliths and on-premise systems into resilient, observable, and cost-effective cloud platforms supporting mission-critical operations and thousands of end users.
I enjoy solving complex technical problems, simplifying operational overhead, and helping teams build systems that are reliable, maintainable, and built to evolve.

- Security & Compliance, Implementing secure cloud architectures with IAM least privilege, encryption, identity federation, and operational controls supporting compliance and data protection requirements.
- Technical Leadership, Leading engineering initiatives, mentoring teams, driving architectural decisions, and bridging the gap between business needs and practical technical execution.
Career Narrative
My career in technology started in the mid-2000s building web applications with ColdFusion, JavaScript, SQL Server, and early AJAX frameworks. Over time, I evolved from traditional full-stack and infrastructure work into cloud-native platform engineering and distributed systems architecture as the industry shifted toward AWS and modern DevOps practices.
Throughout my career, I’ve consistently gravitated toward modernization work, taking legacy systems, operational bottlenecks, and fragile infrastructure and transforming them into scalable, maintainable platforms. I’ve led migrations from single-server environments to AWS cloud infrastructure, implemented serverless architectures, built real-time operational systems, modernized authentication and deployment pipelines, and developed internal platforms that improved both developer experience and operational reliability.
More recently, I’ve focused heavily on AI-assisted engineering workflows, knowledge systems, and AI-native development practices. I’m particularly interested in how AI tooling can improve engineering productivity, operational visibility, and software quality without sacrificing maintainability or sound architectural principles.
What motivates me most is building practical systems that solve real operational problems. I care deeply about engineering quality, but I also believe technology should enable teams to move faster, reduce complexity, and deliver measurable business value.
