I was watching a rerun of Family Guy on Fox the other night and noticed a strange omission. The episode, originally aired during our latest presidential election, featured the characters Stewie and Brian using a time machine to go back in time to Germany during the reign of Hitler and the Nazi party.
There is a scene in this episode in which, after obtaining Nazi uniforms, Stewie looks down to find a McCain/Palin campaign pin tucked under the collar. This part of the scene was absent from this rerun and I thought it was strange that Fox would censor this now, but not during the campaign, or even at all as it was very funny, and obviously a joke.
