I'd never thought I'd see the day when the slashdot community advocated the decriminalization of possession of child porn, using the moderation system to silence anyone who disagrees.

I know the crowd there are mostly your typical, idealistic college kids. I've seen the community fight for the theft of intellectual property, communism and anarchy, and the abolishment of patents. The religious are always targets at slashdot, and religion is always looked down upon, to put it mildly.

But what I saw this weekend did it for me. Yep, that was my line and the community crossed it. Thanks slashdot, it was, well, wasted and thoroughly disappointing. I'm just glad your idiot members are not taken seriously in real life.

And please, don't post here trying to argue this. There is no debate. Child porn is wrong no matter how you participate. Don't be a moron.
